A MOTHER'S BOND SHALL NEVER BE BROKEN

Who is a mother that is not also your friend
She is the one who is there to comfort and correct you
Always there to listen and instruct
Her hands are forever outstretched to lend
All things for you, she strives to do
Her love for you no one could disrupt

A mother lays down her wants in order to intervene for your needs
She will go with you all the way pushing you on to higher heights
For she desires to see you go further, placing no limitations on your accomplishments
She is the one who is there praying for you on her knees
Many hours in prayer and reminiscence she exhibits throughout the passing nights
Great is the closeness a mother and child experiences

The way to a mother is the way to a child
For she repeats every step a million times over again just to let you know she is there
Throughout your life you can trace the many places a mother’s love has covered
There will be times both have cried, but truly more times they have smiled
She shows her child how much she does care
Love deeper each day discovered

This love for each other is new every morning
Its scent is a fragrance like no other
It forms a circle that can never be broken
It is a song only together they can sing
For its words are written from God through child and mother
From before the day you were born, in love with you she has been

So often I catch myself stopping to listen
To the simple things in life
A bird chirping, a gentle brook flowing

I love to watch the sun set
A rainbow after the storm
Clouds moving slowly

Beautiful is the lily in the valley
Sweet is the sound of overdue rain
Blessed is he who takes time to notice

~SOME DEFINITIONS OF MINE~

FORGIVE: Something we have to do for “us” even when it may seem like the hardest thing to do. If we hold on to what is bothering us and not let go of it through forgiveness then we are only hurting our own self and carrying baggage that needs to have already been dropped off.

LOVE: Though it cannot be fully explained, it most definitely can be understood.

TRUST: Something that others should be able to have in us and what we should place in others.

ENCOURAGEMENT: Something we all need and need to give others all along the way.

BELIEVE: In others and yourself.

FEELINGS: We cannot let fear keep us from showing their trueness.

GIVE: From our hearts, expecting nothing in return we should give joyfully.

SMILE: Something so simple yet means so much to someone else.

HAPPINESS: Is what we make of it.

HONESTY: When others find it in us we shine as we were intended to.

LOYALTY: A devotion and a bond about us others want to be a part of.

WALK: From everything that is holding us down, we have got to walk out of.

JUMP: Do not be afraid to take a chance in life and on others.

STAND: For the things we believe in and beside those we care for, we need to stand.

KEEP: We have got to keep our mind focused, our head held high and strong when the storms come our way.

WORK: In all things we do we should work hard.

FINISH: The things we start, we should finish.

DESIRE: The best for others and yourself let that be your desire.

KINDNESS: Something we have and need to give to all. It is something that will carry us further than we have ever imagined by showing it to others.

AWAKE: The world tries to sing us to sleep; but we have got to awaken and be alert to what is going on around us.

SWIM: From the waters of doubt, selfishness, disbelief, un-forgiveness, anger, negativity, fear, and all things that hold us down we have got to swim away from.

~REACH OUT~

In this life, our every day is not going to be a great one; but we can still have a good one. There is always something and someone who will bless our life in a little and special way and it is the “little” things in life that truly mean so much! We can do a lot when we open our heart and give from the depths to others around. We touch lives even when we are unaware that we do.

Nothing done from the heart and out of Love goes unnoticed or unaccounted for even if it may seem that it does. There is always someone watching us, and for them to see goodness given, that moment is never truly forgotten. Life is not about just our own self, it is about us all. When we put others before us that is when we truly fall in line to be BLESSED. The things we do for one another should never be done with an attitude of wanting to be praised. Praise itself always shows up at its appointed time! We were created to love each other and to care for one another! We are to bear each others burdens.

In times of need, we need to reach out with our heart. Whatever is going on in our life and another’s, being there for each other makes the trial a little easier to handle. Right now it is not about “me”, but it is about “you” and when we realize that, then we are blessed in the process. We need to grab the hand of another and walk this trial through together! We are not alone, we have each other! We need to reach out with a hand, and a heart that says, “I Will Never Let You Go”!!!!
