I found a ribbon that
was polka-dotted orange
and blue and a lime green
note entitled: Walk to
the big Oak tree. At the
Oak tree was a string
tied around its trunk
leading me down a path,
a mile walk away, and
at its end was a box.
In opening the red
tattered box as easily
as I could inside was
a little bear flattened
with all its stuffing
gone with a note lying
beside him that read,
"No matter what life
holds for you the good
and the bad days always
know that love is a box
you'll always have to
open and in the opening
you'll smile and in
that moment of quiet
reflection you will feel
across your heart the
breeze of your purpose
for being here. You are
unique. You have reason
