~Placing My Trust in God~
Even if I had training wheels to depend on every distance
I traveled, flotation devices for every river of problems I
had to cross, a parachute to jump out on Faith, a safety
cable holding me as I climbed mountains of trials, a helmet
and padding to wear as I was hit with struggles; it would
not protect me without me TRUSTING in GOD for all things

SYDNEY (Reuters) – A dog was hailed as a hero on Sunday after it risked its life to save a litter of newborn kittens from a house fire, rescuers said.
In a case which gives the lie to the saying about 'fighting like cats and dogs', the terrier cross named Leo had to be revived with oxygen and heart massage after his ordeal. Fire broke out overnight at the house in Australia's southern city of Melbourne, where he was guarding the kittens.
Fire fighters who revived Leo said he refused to leave the building and was found by them alongside the litter of kittens, despite thick smoke.
"Leo wouldn't leave the kittens and it nearly cost him his life," fire service Commander Ken Brown told reporters.
The four kittens also survived the fire and Sunday Leo, who fire fighters nicknamed 'Smoky', was again back at the house.

This just goes to show that if an animal is concerned and determined over the well-being of another animal, shouldn't we as humans have a heart that cares for people and what they are going through and be willing to reach out to them and help pull them out of the fires that may be blazing in their life. -Dawn H. 10/26/08 @ 7:56 p.m.

~ We Handle Each Visitation ~
"When life gets hard, we push harder. Through whatever presents itself unto life's doorstep, we learn how to handle each visitation we get." -Dawn H.
Life is not always wind blowing through your hair, good times, sweet sunshine, butterflies, rainbows, and everything oh so carefree. It pushes against us so hard sometimes to the point we may feel standing is the hardest thing to do. There are some times we have to crawl before we can even walk. It is in those times when our backs are against the wall that we become stronger and learn to fight. When it gets hard, we have to push harder. We muster up every ounce of strength within us and press on. Though the storms come and the winds beat vehemently upon us time and time again, we keep going on one step at a time. Whatever presents itself at the doorstep of our life; we learn how to handle each visitation. If life was easy, I believe we would take it for granted, more than we already do. We could all sit down right now and make a list of all our blessings; but what we tend to do first is highlight all the wrongs. We are not alone. Everyone has their own problems to face, and we can all learn from one another as we carry each other along. -Dawn H. 6/4/08 @ 5:19 p.m.
