- In Flight -

When we give our life to God and the Holy Spirit dwells in us we are from that moment adopted into the family of God. We don't have to be led around by the slave master of sin, the devil. We are set free from the bondage sin holds us in. We are able by the Savior's help to shake off those shackles we once were chained in. Yes, sin will always show up at our door; but we realize we have a choice now to depart from such invitation. And yes we do struggle in our walk, sometimes making mistakes and doing that what we ought not to do; but it should be our desire to repent and keep walking forward trying to live better, serve Christ, and also be of service to others in ways we can help especially to encourage our brothers and sisters. Each day we are learning and we are to be lights to each other. We gain strength first and foremost from God and we also gain strength from one another---knowing as children of God we are all walking the same road and we all fall sometimes; but we have a Father who's arms are always outstretched to us. Isaiah 59:1 says, "Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:" Micah 7:8 says, "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me."
